Cross-sector Partnerships for Sustainable Development

EPSD promotes both the academic and practical development of cross sector partnerships for sustainable development. Cross sector partnerships between business, government and civil society offer unique opportunities for sharing know how and expertise, costs and benefits and risk in finding lasting solutions to environmental, social and economic problems. These partnerships necessitate that different sectors of society are open to communicate and collaborate with each other and transcend some of the divides between business, NGOs and governments in order to strategically aggregate the resources and competencies of each to resolve a specific problem or implement a specific program. EPSD has worked with and continues to work with both businesses and governmental agencies dedicated to finding innovative and lasting solutions to environmental issues.
